Good Trouble Media is on a mission to make equitable schooling and high-quality education an international priority. By telling authentic stories of the people behind and within global education systems, we provide engaging digital content and tangible tools to help game-changers and budding leaders commit to and grapple with improving our education system.
Patrick Harris (@PresidentPat) started Good Trouble Media in his closet in 2018 with the release of Common Sense Podcast. 90,000 downloads later, Good Trouble Media is continuing to make its space in education spaces around the world.
Patrick is a native of Detroit, Michigan, where he teaches middle school English. His teaching experiences has taken him to teach in Doha, Qatar, to Columbia University for the Klingenstein Summer Institute for early career educators. He's accepted the Early Career Educator of Color Leadership Award from the National Council of Teachers of English. Patrick is most tearing down systems of inequity to make life easier to navigate for those historically marginalized. When Patrick isn't teaching or podcasting, he's singing gospel at red lights, watching other people cook (because he can't), or taking a hike. See Patrick's full resume on the link below. ![]()
